Proficient in all aspects of real estate and property management, John brings to Somerset Hills over 20 years of experience in sales, facilities management, contract negotiations, and new business development.
John was licensed as a real estate agent in California from 1985 to 2001 where he served as a property manager and leasing agent for numerous large projects. He passed the State of Idaho real estate exam in November 2000 after moving to Idaho from the San Francisco Bay area in the spring of 2000. In addition to recording impressive sales as a residential real estate agent, John has drafted, reviewed, and negotiated lease contracts exceeding $1.5 million annually. Before joining Somerset Hills, John served as a multi-family property manager for Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate in Boise, overseeing 25 employees and managing a multi-family portfolio of more than eight properties comprised of 600 units with rental income of more than $4 million annually. His experience in all aspects of property management combined with his practical knowledge of budget analysis, marketing, and conflict resolution qualify him to negotiate sales contracts, settle disputes and monitor transactions through closing. As General Manager at Somerset Hills, John supervises a staff of 11, coordinates the condominium conversion process with the City of Boise, works to establish the Somerset Hills homeowners association, and supervises all renovation and remodeling efforts. John is responsible for pricing, phasing, marketing, selling and all other aspects of bringing the condominiums at Somerset Hills to market. Born in Florida and raised on Long Island in New York, John moved to California while in high school and served in the Air Force from 1976 to 1978. John, his wife Pat who grew up in Idaho Falls, and his daughters, eight-year-old Hannah and six-year-old Kate, have lived in Idaho for the past four-and-a-half years. John enjoys playing ice hockey and golf when not engaged in his favorite activity—spending time with his family. |
